Anthony Wardle

Overview: I am responsible for various areas within the business, ranging from customer service, sales, accounts, installations; generally helping to run the business throughout. The variety of the job is what I enjoy and if I don’t know how to do something, I’d rather tell you that, go away and find a way to do it, and come back with a solution or workaround.

In my personal life: When did you start with the company December 2020
What do you enjoy about the work you do The variety and creativity needed. I am seeing lots of people with a wide variety of requirements, and being able to understand their needs and translate this into a product or system they can use and re-use makes it worthwhile.

What was your last job before this? I spent 18 years in the call centre industry, particularly the call handling outsourcing model. Starting on the front line (I was one of those people you shouted over the phone at when you were angry), I quickly made my way up through the ranks to call centre management and dealt with all aspects. Anything from sales, IT, customer service, accounts, you name it I got involved.

Hobbies & Interests: As a family man a lot of my spare time is spent around my 2 kids, but when I do get my time I enjoy photography, gaming and cycling (although the intensity of my cycling isn’t what is used to be). I enjoy problem solving and learning new things, my bookmark folder of things to learn is constantly growing and I will get round to most of it one day.

Recently I am trying to get back into sketching and art, in my younger years this was something I really enjoyed…..this is ongoing, still.

What’s the best concert you’ve ever been to: You know, I’ve never been to a live concert in my life. It’s not that I have anything against them, I’ve just never had a desire to go to one, although I’m sure I’ll end up at one eventually.

What do you think you’re good at? Solving problems, or learning to understand the problem.

Tea of Coffee? Both, but I am partial to a nice latte
